Welcome to the Electrical Department at Institute of Technology, Ganpat University. We are dedicated to fostering innovation, excellence, and creativity in the field of electrical engineering. Electrical Engineering department was established in year 2014 offering Diploma Degree (6 years integrated course) in Electrical Engineering. Till date more than 400+ students have passed out from electrical department and fortunately most of them are well settled in their professional life. Our department is committed to providing a rich academic environment, cutting-edge research opportunities, and a supportive community for students, faculty, and staff with major faculty members having Master Degree.

Our mission is to educate the next generation of electrical engineers, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to tackle the complex challenges of the modern world. The Department assiduously endeavours to bridge the theoretical and practical knowledge gaps through up-to-date curriculum and interdisciplinary learning environment.

The Department has well-developed laboratories in the areas of Power Electronics, Electrical Machines, Switchgear & Protection, AC & DC Circuit where students can work with modern hardware and simulation tools to get the hands-on expertise in various areas of Electrical Engineering.

More emphasis is laid on the skill-development of students to make them industry-ready. Quality teaching, with overall personality development of the students, is the motto of the Department.

The department also looks into the interests of the students thereby organizing regular industrial and other field visits. The department is in regular touch with various industries to enable the students to have a practical exposure.
