Head of Department
The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering stands as one of the pioneering departments of Ganpat University, dedicated to excellence in technical education and innovation. Over the years, our alumni have become our greatest ambassadors, successfully contributing to renowned global organizations such as Oracle (USA), Intel (USA), Deloitte (USA), Google (USA), Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant (USA), eInfochips, TCS, IBM, and L&T, among many others.
In addition to core program knowledge, we emphasize comprehensive skill development through structured training in aptitude, communication, presentation, leadership, teamwork, and personality enhancement. Our department is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories, modern infrastructure, and outstanding learning resources that create an environment conducive to innovation and holistic student development.
All our faculty members hold M.E./M.Tech. degrees, with several currently pursuing doctoral research in emerging domains of electronics and communication. The department regularly organizes placement drives, industrial visits, expert talks, workshops, seminars, and project competitions to enhance the technical competence and employability of our students. Furthermore, we maintain a strong network of industry experts and academic professionals who provide valuable insights to continually upgrade our curriculum in alignment with evolving industry trends.
In the era of rapid advancements in IoT, Artificial Intelligence, VLSI design, and wireless communication, the world is transforming into a highly connected digital ecosystem. In tune with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision to position India as a global hub for semiconductor design and manufacturing, our curriculum has been strategically designed to prepare students for opportunities in the semiconductor and electronics value chain.
Our goal is to nurture highly skilled technologists who can contribute to national missions such as Digital India, Make in India, and the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM), thereby supporting India’s journey toward technological self-reliance and innovation leadership.
I extend my heartfelt best wishes to all our students for a bright, successful, and impactful future.
Best Wishes,
Dr. Vijay K. Patel [PhD. M.Tech (IISC, Banglore)]
