Laboratory
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering continually strives to enhance its laboratory infrastructure in alignment with the latest advancements in technology and industry requirements. Our faculty members are deeply committed not only to updating the curriculum but also to modernizing laboratory facilities to keep pace with the rapid developments in the fields of electronics, communication systems, and semiconductor technology.
The fundamental and advanced laboratories are regularly upgraded with state-of-the-art instruments and modern training setups. A strong emphasis is placed on design-oriented and application-based experiments, enabling students to develop practical skills alongside theoretical understanding. Comprehensive laboratory manuals have been meticulously prepared for all labs to support structured learning and independent experimentation.
In keeping with emerging global trends and the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision to establish India as a global hub for semiconductor research and manufacturing, new experimental setups and facilities are added every year. These include modules for embedded systems, IoT-based communication, VLSI design, and signal processing. Such enhancements ensure that students are well-trained to meet the future demands of the electronics, communication, and semiconductor industries.
Through continual innovation, practical exposure, and technology integration, the department’s laboratories serve as vital centres of experiential learning—equipping students with the knowledge, creativity, and technical competence required to excel in the evolving technological landscape.

VLSI & HDL |
A state of art VLSI and HDL laboratory has been setup for providing training in the area of VLSI design. The laboratory has 40 computers and software packages of C2S (Cadence, Mentor Graphics, and Synopsys). It has hardware kits including a Universal trainer Kit, CPLD and FPGA trainer kits for testing the designed system. |

Microprocessor & Microcontroller |
The Laboratory has been developed to provide hardware and software training in the field of micro-processor and microcontroller. The hardware consists of 8085 and 8086 training kits and 8051 micro-controller training kits. The Lab also has 30 computers and relevant software packages like SPJ cross-compiler, built-in EPROM programmer software etc. |

Control Systems/Computer Network |
Control system and CN laboratories are developed to provide advanced control system analysis as well as networking. Students become aware of networking and data transfer within network. Students get programming ideas using MATLAB |

Power Electronics & Applications |
The laboratory is equipped with adequate number of power electronics trainer kits (Both single phase and three phase) and also latest software package like PSIM. The students can simulate the circuits on the software and implement them on bread-board trainer kits. |

Communication Laboratory |
A modern and well equipped Communication Lab has been set up to perform the experiments related to various communication subjects in the field of fiber optics, analog and digital communication. It has the necessary trainer kits, adequate test equipment and breadboard trainer kits. We have spectrum analyzer as well as digital storage oscilloscope. |

Digital Electronics |
The experiments of various subjects related to digital electronics are conducted in this laboratory. Stress is laid for the students to perform experiments using discrete components on bread-boards. It also has various test equipment and trainer kits. |

Electronic devices and Analog Circuits |
The students perform experiments of basic as well as advanced analog electronics in this Laboratory. The students use discrete components to build the circuits on bread-board and test it with the available equipment. It also has many trainer kits from APLAB for analog circuits. |

Microwave and Antenna |
The Laboratory has latest microwave and antenna trainer kits. The students study the radiation patterns of various antennas using the antenna trainer kit from SCIENTECH. Microwave measurements are carried out by using the microwave bench as well as SICO trainer kits. We have spectrum analyzer as we ll as digital storage oscilloscope. |

Embedded System |
We have Micro tutor development system for ARM -7 from EDUTECH for performing practical based on embedded system. Students are given exposure to real world interfacing through the medium of programming in Embedded C. |

Digital Signal Processing |
Laboratory of Digital Signal Processing course aims at practical experience with the simulation and development of basic signal processing algorithms, using standardized environments such as MATLAB and general-purpose DSP development kits. Experiments cover fundamental concepts of digital signal processing like sampling and aliasing, quantization in A/D conversion, digital filter design and implementation, signal generation, spectrum estimation etc. |

We have 3 hardware laboratories and 2 software laboratories. (Total 06 laboratories). All Laboratories come under Wi-Fi coverage area. All computers connected with server and also internet facility available. All computers Laboratory have Air conditioner facility. |
